Movie Casting News: Keira Knightley and Matt Smith to Star in Real-Life Spy Thriller 'Official Secrets'

Elizabeth Bennet (Pride & Prejudice 2005) & Mr. Collins (Pride and Prejudice And Zombies) in a spy movie together? Sounds interesting! Keira Knightley, who previously co-starred with her P&P film co-star Tom Hollander twice after P&P movie with two Pirates sequels (Dead Man's Chest and At World's End) is co-starring with another Mr. Collins actor (not TH), Matt Smith (of PPZ movie). According to THR, they are set to star in the real-life spy thriller Official Secrets.

Today (January 27th) is the lovely and ethereally beautiful, Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Academy Award nominee for Best Actress (for her outstanding performance as Amy Dunne in Gone GirlRosamund Pike (aka Pride & Prejudice 2005's very own Jane Bennet)'s 39th Birthday! All the best to her on her upcoming film projects slated to be released starting with the US theater release of Hostiles (January 26th) this month and more films (7 Days in Entebbe - March 16, Beirut - April 13, and Three Seconds - August 17) sometime this year.

Keira Knightley covers Variety with New Interview!

Keira Knightleycovers the Sundance 2018 (January 2018) issue of Variety as she promotes her upcoming film Colette, in which she stars with Dominic West. Keira plays the title role as a French novelist, Colette, overcomes an abusive marriage to emerge as a leading writer in her country and a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature. The film will world premiere at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival on January 20th, 2018.

Watch: Rosamund Pike & Jon Hamm in first trailer for Beirut

Bleeker Street has released the first trailer and poster for the political thriller Brad Anderson's political thriller Beirut (previously titled High Wire Act) starring Rosamund Pike& Jon Hamm.

Beirut is a bout A U.S. diplomat (Hamm), who flees Lebanon in 1972 after a tragic incident at his home. Ten years later, he is called back to war-torn Beirut by CIA operatives (Pike) to negotiate for the life of a friend he left behind.

Written by Tony Gilroy (the Bourne films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), the filmis set to open on April 13, 2018. The film also stars Dean Norris, Larry Pine, and Shea Whigham.
