Austenland starring Keri Russell in dramatic competition at 2013 Sundance Film Festival

Finally some good news on the upcoming film, Austenland (based on the novel of the same name by Shannon Hale) starring Keri Russell (Felicity, The Magic of Ordinary Days, August Rush), which was financed and produced by Stephenie Meyer, the best-selling author of the Twilight series. It is an official selection (and in Dramatic competition) of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.

The 2013 Sundance Film Festival has unveiled today the lineups for U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions and Austenland is one of the 16 US films competing in the Dramatic competition.

The film festival will be held January 17-27, 2013 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

"Austenland" (U.S.-U.K.) -- Directed by Jerusha Hess, written by Hess and Shannon Hale. A thirtysomething woman obsessed with Mr. Darcy from "Pride and Prejudice" sees her fantasies come to life at an English resort. Features Keri Russell, JJ Feild, Bret McKenzie, Jennifer Coolidge, Georgia King and James Callis.
