Ripper Street starring Matthew Macfadyen premieres January 19th on BBC America!

Finally, an official premiere date for Matthew Macfadyen's upcoming 8-part crime mini-series Ripper Street has been unveiled via The Hollywood Reporter and BBC America's Ripper Street site has been updated with the premiere date.

Mark your calendar! It will premiere on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 9 PM on BBC America!

“Ripper Street” is a riveting new crime series set to premiere within BBC America’s Dramaville on January 19, 2013 at 9/8c. The eight-part series is set in and around Whitechapel in London’s East End in 1889, during the aftermath of the infamous Jack the Ripper murders.

Jerome Flynn, and Adam Rothenberg also star.

Ripper Street, the 1800s police drama starring Matthew Macfadyen, opens on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 9 p.m. The network's latest co-production's eight-episode run follows London's H Division as they navigate grisly crimes in the wake of Jack the Ripper's tear through the city.
