Thanksgiving Box Office: Mockingjay - Part 1 remains at #1 and tops Thanksgiving weekend US BO with $57 Million; Gone Girl remains at top 10 with a domestic total of $160 Million; and The Imitation Game with $482K on 4 screens!

Looks like half of the Bennet family (Papa Bennet and youngest daughter Lydia Bennet on top of this weekend's box office...aka Donald Sutherland and Jena Malone even in a cameo part. Following them are older Bennet sisters Jane Bennet and Elizabeth Bennet...aka Rosamund Pike and Keira Knightley) had a great Thanksgiving weekend at this past weekend's U.S. Box Office chart...as in the P&P (2005) actors who played them, of course...starring/co-starring in movies that are currently in theaters worldwide.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (Donald Sutherland as President Snow and Jena Malone as Johanna Mason co-star) remained at #1 this weekend's US Box Office chart with $56.9 million and total of $225.6 million. It's foreign Box office is doing even much better with $254.4 million (on its second weekend) with a worldwide total of $480 million after 10 days. Meanwhile, Gone Girl (starring Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck) continued to have an impressive legs at the box office and remained at the top 10 for 9 straight weeks in row at #8 with $2.4 million this weekend and a domestic total of $160.7 million. Its foreign total is now $173.4 million and a worldwide total of $334.1 million. And The Imitation Game (starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley), which opened in select theaters this past weekend did very well on its opening weekend. Word of mouth was said to be extremely positive on the film. Domestically, the Weinstein Company release received an A+ CinemaScore and grossed $482K on four screens this weekend. It had, according to Deadline, the 2nd highest per-screen average of the year over its 1st five-day frame.

Speaking of Mockingjay - Part 1, beside its movie being on top, its worth to note here that this weekend with the movie soundtrack rising to #1 on iTunes, the individual and catchy track, The Hanging Tree, the lullaby sung by Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, was #1 in 36 countries and the #2 overall song on iTunes.
